Are you overwhelmed by a new puppy or rescue? Does your dog panic when you leave? Are you looking for a fun activity to do with you best bud? Check out the programs below or sign up for a free Meet & Greet to find out what option would be best for your goals.
Puppy Q&As are online sessions focused on addressing common puppy-raising questions such as:
What is socialization and what does it look like in practice?
How do I potty train my puppy?
What’s with all the biting and how do I make it stop?
How do I teach my children to interact with my puppy?
One-month programs include four online or at-home sessions and are best for experienced owners looking to refine basics, address mild behavior issues, or introduce enrichment activities such as tricks, scent games, & agility. Best for:
Learning fundamental training & handler skills
Teaching basic obedience cues
Preparing for a new rescue or puppy
Enrichment and relationship-building
Troubleshooting a mild behavior issue (i.e. jumping on guests, puppy chewing)
Two-month programs include eight sessions. Depending on your goals and support needs sessions may be all or a mix of at-home visits, public outings, and online sessions. Best for:
Pet parents new to caring for a dog and/or training
Puppy-raising and support through adolescence
Parents who want to take their dog’s basic skills to the next level or prepare for AKC tit such as Canine Good Citizen or Urban Canine Good Citizen (Public Access Test)
Address mild to moderate behavior challenges (i.e. chewing furniture, mild reactivity)
Three-month programs are recommended when a behavior modification plan is needed. Three-month programs are the minimum for separation anxiety, aggression (including bite history), phobias, and leash reactivity. Typical behavior plans include:
Learning and/or refining basics
Assessment for missing skills
Identifying triggers
Handler confidence building.
Actionable environmental changes & management plans
Severe behaviors may require continued support beyond a three-month program, but my goal is to help dogs build resilience to triggers & help families learn how to bounce back quickly.
Training walks & public outings are available in conjunction with a training program or as training maintenance. On these outings I will take your dog out in your neighborhood & work on target behaviors. These are good for families with an anxious or reactive dog, but have limited time to train. Note that training walks are meant to complement training programs and are not a substitute for family participation.
1-Month Programs (4 Sessions): $625
2-Month Programs (8 Sessions): $1200
3-Month Programs (12 Sessions): $1750
Refresher Sessions: $150
Training Walks & Public Outings: $65-$85 (varies by location)
Sliding Scale for Per Session Training: $100-$180
